I'm Wincey, a super fan of Figo, and it was since the Euro Cup 2000 that I started to become a fan. Well, when I was surfing on the net, I tried to find websites on him but I could rarely find any. So I decided to establish this site, and perhaps this can be the right place where Figo fans can meet together. In this site, there will be info and news about him. Updates: REAL MADRID BRREZES INTO THE FINALS OF THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE(1/5/02) In the second leg of the semifinal, Raul scored the only goal for Real Madrid, and they drew 1-1 with Barca. This sealed the victory and they won the series 3-1. They will next meet Bayer Leverkusen, who beat Man United in a very close match! Read news REAL STILL STRONG WITHOUT FIGO (23/04/02) Real Madrid managed to defeat their long-time rivals, Barcelona, with a score of 2-0, giving them a lead in the Champions League. (scorers: Zidane and McMannamen). In this match, Figo was suspended due to a third yellow card he recieved when playing against Bayern Munich in the quarters. Click here for news! PORTUGAL TIES WITH BRAZIL 1:1 IN WORLD CUP FRIENDLY MATCH (18/04/02) Portugal competed against four-time World Cup champion Brazil and a friendly match and they played an impressive match, tying 1:1. Check out the news section for the article, and there's a photo of Figo available in the photo section. April 17th 2002 Wow! It's been ages since I've updated the site! The reason I've started updating again is because I miss watching Figo play, and most importantly, the WORLD CUP 2002 is coming up in less than 2 months! With the help of Figo, Portugal has advanced to the World Cup, and Real Madrid is in the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League, and 2nd in the Spanish League! So much is happening around Figo, and we'll be seeing a lot of him! Is Figo considering a new career? Don't be fooled! He's been working for charity and will be releasing a CD called 'Mundial', meaning 'the world'. This CD will be in stores in May and all the profits will be given to charity!
